When she married Alanna promised to love, honour and obey... she just never really clarified who she'd love, what she'd honour or who she'd obey. Which is probably a good thing since it's unlikely she'd remember the specifics of the arrangements anyway.

A sorceress (Alanna could never remember incantations quite right) bent on bringing niceness and happiness to the world(s) she strives in any way possible to make as many people as happy as possible. During an adventure with many mishaps she discovered that Avielle was very eager to be cheered up and his particular method was rather rewarding, she's since been working to keep a smile on his face as often as possible.

She is after all, heroic! And a heroes work is never done!
